Twilighters get your hands on this one! A copy of the screenplay of the third installment to the Twilight Saga, Eclipse, has been leaked online and is reportedly to be authentic! A Twilight fan’s dream! TwilightSagaMovies reported that the copy of the screenplay belongs to Jackson Rathbone, the guy who plays Jasper on the movie. The screenplay of the third installment of the Twilight Saga, Eclipse, has been leaked online. The copy by actor Jackson Rathbone, who plays Jasper Hale in the film, is now found in the internet and is available for download.
The authenticity of the 112 page script has been questioned, but the script’s pages are watermarked with Rathbone’s name. Scripts are marked with their names on to help them keep track of their copy. But both Deadline Hollywood and EW.com confirmed that the PDF file of the leaked script is real.
Summit Entertainment, the film’s distributor, downplayed the whole incident. They said that the script found online is just a “blue script”, an earlier draft of the screenplay that was likely not the final script that will be shot. They said that it is not the final version that was used byEclipse director, David Slade. Summit has not given any further information regarding the leak, how the script was lost in the first place or how anyone got their hands on the script.
I personally don’t think this will deal a negative blow to the movie since it’s still a long way for it’s release. If anything else, it will only make the fans long to watch the movie.
